Hajj uncertain for 4000 pilgrims

Pns:The Hajj office said that 4,000 Bangladeshi pilgrims are still facing uncertainty about going to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj. The authorities are making a serious effort to send the stranded pilgrims to Jeddah on the 27th and the 28th of August.



Officials have confirmed that the government of Saudi Arabia has been contacted for approving 2 additional flights on those 2 days.

Meanwhile, 13 Hajj flights are scheduled to leave for Jeddah today (Monday). The first Hajj flight today left Dhaka at 8:15 this morning. Around 88,000 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have arrived in Jeddah, and 1.26 lakh visas have been issued so far.
