PNS Desk: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned Transcom Group Chairman Latifur Rahman for questioning over graft allegations that include money laundering.

The ACC, the graft watchdog, on Thursday issued a notice instructing him to appear at its headquarters on Oct 18 with his national ID and attested copy of passport.

According to ACC, Latifur Rahman, who received Business for Peace Award for ethical business from Oslo-based Business for Peace Foundation in 2012, has made money by not paying utility connection bills and VAT of businesses under Transcom conglomerate.

The other allegations are acquiring illegal wealth, money laundering as well as land-grabbing.
